Gamescom Video Convention Breaks Attendance Record
Perfume, Germany -- Europe's number 1 gambling confab, Gamescom, hit a brand new attendance record this season, with 275,000 site visitors making the visit to Perfume to look into the latest game titles and trends within the gaming industry. The figure signifies an 8 percent hop on attendance this year but remains just slightly behind Korea's G-Star convention, which this past year came 280,000 fans. With 550 companies symbolized, however, the Gamescom defended its title because the gaming world's biggest industry event. The surge in fan amounts temporarily overcome Gamescom coordinators, who closed the doorway towards the event for a short while on Saturday because the crowd threatened in becoming a crushing mass. If Gamescom would be to develop the momentum it's proven in the third year in Perfume, the confab will need to try to better accommodate its swelling group of followers.
