I just feel discouraged sometimes...
I see all these people singing hit songs and becoming famous
And im still trapped in my house trying to write descent songs
And trying to make my voice not sound like a baby's voice.
Why i feel like this:
-my family doesn't like to travel
-i live in nj so its not like i can fly to ca.
-i know people tell me that you are next ny but my parents never stand
the thought of even going there. They have the wrong idea. I know it
is dangerous but it is also a place to be discovered and have new
opportunities!
-I have a un mature voice. It sounds babyish and is no must have voice
-i also am afraid to improve my voice. Improvement means singing
regularly. The only problem with that is that no one in my family
really know about my dream to be a singer/songwriter and every time
they hear me singing the don't approve. Plus, are bedrooms are back to
back and they are basically always home. So i have no where i can go
to sing freely without worry.
-im not happy with my songs. They suck. I have no rhythm.
***Please note that im not chasing my dream because it means being
famous and getting lots of money. I want this to make a better life
for my mom and family.
